The ladies have joined the Ladies IHI League as returning champions. Here is to another great season. The first round was held in Dublin on feb 10th.
ECB VS Cork Ladies Match report
ECB Ladies second game saw them take on Cork in a thrilling 6-1 victory. The game started at a quick pace with the first goal being scored by Tracey after a pass across the net from Charlotte. Not long after lynn doubled the lead with a great unassisted effort, her first competitive goal since returning from injury! Charlotte netted the 3rd goal after a lengthy battle for the puck to end the first period 3-0.
In the second period the goals kept coming. Claire fired one in from D and a back hand effort from Tracey increased the lead further. But Claire proved she wasn't done yet, rocketing one in from the half way line making it 6-0. Unfortunately Siobhan who had an astounding game was denied her shut out in the dying minutes with a good effort from Cork, finishing the game 6-1.
