This weekend one of our Under 12’s made the successful transition from Skater (and one the best in his age group) to Goalie. 7 year old Ryan Thompson has longed to get that Catcher and Blocker into action and at last this weekend he got kitted out and bravely took the net at Junior and Under 16 training sessions. He did so well on Saturday, he thought he would even give the Ladies a run for their money bright and early on Sunday morning, (sorry Daddy Thompson, no lie in this Sunday), and the girls had a job to put a puck past him all morning.
All the Players and Coaches at East Coast Blaze are very proud of Ryan and wish him every success in his new position in the team as Junior Goalie
