Senior IHI Playoffs IN Cork
The Senior IHI playoffs were held in Cork on April 16 - 17 2005. East Coast Blaze is proud to announce there senior team were the runners up in the senior IHI playoffs.
Game 1: against the Glanmire Rockets who were the runners up in the valley vase. ECB 4 Rockets 3.
Game 2 against Killkenny Bandit. ECB 11 Bandits 1
Game 3: against the Celtic Wolves.ECB 4 Wolves 3. ECB pulled off the winning goal with 15 sec left.
Game 4: against the runners up of last years IHI Playoffs Rebels. ECB 2 Rebels 9
This was the first for ECB to play in the IHI senoir playoffs final. The boys and gal had worked extreemly hard and they have proven that they are the up and comming team.
After a hard fought game the rebels clawed a 4 - 3 victory.
ECB would like to say congradulations to Cork Rebels for bringing home the throphy. A comment made by Josey (travelling spectator)"That weekend was the best she had ever seen the team play. All games were non stop action. It was a pleasure to watch. The senior team did the club proud."
Coach Corey's comment: "The team worked hard and played hard from start to finish. Everyone gave a 130%. If we keep training and keep going the way we are we will be taking the Trophy home next time."
Senior IHI Playoffs Awards
Playoffs MVP (Goalie) was given to our very own Mark Barrit..
Mark Barritt had played outstanding on the weekend. ECB would like to congratulate Mark for his outstanding efforts.

Best Defense Man ~ Dave Healy (Cork Rebels)
Most Sportsman like ~ David Fitzpatrick (Killkenny Bandits)
